NOTE – This syllabus has been modified to teach the course as a 6 week intensive summer course. The professor feels that is not ideal, and although it works, it’s too heavy a reading load for some students, and the course works much better as a regular semester course. But this is his most current reading list, so this is likely the most useful to people looking for materials for a course – just be aware of this structural issue and it is suggested that if possible you adjust it to a full semester.
