Registration Fees for URPE Summer Conference

Special Rates for Occupiers and Students

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. REGISTRATION WILL REOPEN ONSITE FRIDAY, AUGUST 10 AT 4 P.M. IF YOU ARE REGISTERING ONSITE, PLEASE BRING A TENT (OR MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS) AS CABIN BEDS ARE NOT GUARANTEED.

Conference Fees: This year URPE is heavily subsidizing the registration fees of those joining us from the Occupy movement and offering the same rate to students. URPE members and all those with decent incomes (even if they are Occupiers) are asked to pay regular registration fees using the same sliding scale that URPE has always used for our Summer Conferences. (Those registering at the low income rates are also subsidized by URPE, since these fees are actually below the cost per person of the conference.)

As always, child care is provided free throughout the conference so that both children and their caretakers can enjoy and benefit from the conference program. (Please contact the URPE National Office if you are interested in childcare.) There is no camp fee for children under age 3, but the camp does charge us for children aged 3 and over.

Registration fees include all meals, programming, and facilities.

Cabin allocation: The camp has space for 90 people in cabins and for another 110 for people who can bring and set up their own tents. The rooms in the camp's cabins have between 8 and 14 bunk beds. Cabins have showers and toilets. You must bring your own linens and pillows. (Please contact the National Office if this is a hardship.) Tents can be erected in areas near the cabins and tenters can use these cabin facilities. Conference registrants wishing to sleep in cabins are asked to pay an additional fee of $15 per person. People requesting cabin space on the basis of physical disability must register for this before July 15.

CONFERENCE FEES FOR OCCUPIERS AND STUDENTS:

Registration fee for the entire conference: $55 per adult
Fees for accompanied children aged 3-17: $35 per child
+$15 Cabin fee per person if you register for one of our limited cabin spaces.

Cancellations: Fees for those who cancel their registrations before July 15 will be refunded in full. People who cancel their registrations between July 16 and August 4 will be charged a processing fee of $30 for regular participants and $10 for Occupiers/Students. No refunds will be available after August 4.

Travel subsidy: A travel subsidy will be paid at the conference for those registering for the entire conference who submit transportations receipts showing travel within two weeks of either the starting or ending date of the conference. The subsidy will provide 30% of total transportation costs incurred over $50, up to a maximum of $150.
