URPE at the Left Forum

The Left Forum, formerly the Socialist Scholars Conference, takes place annually, usually in March or April, in New York City. It is a non-sectarian conference for Left and progressive academics and activists. URPE has sponsored panels at the Left Forum for many years. Many URPE members also participate in panels as individuals.

LEFT FORUM 2012 will take place Friday March 16 through Sunday March 18 at Pace University (across from City Hall), One Pace Plaza, New York, NY 10038. This year's theme will be "Occupy the System: Confronting Global Capitalism." See the Left Forum website for more details.

Check back in early March to view URPE panels at the Left Forum. At that time you will also be able to see the entire Left Forum program on their site (the program usually includes many URPE members in panels sponsored by other organizations).
